• As a senior product manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the evolution and delivery of products across all client platforms. You will be accountable for the definition, delivery, operational performance, and support of the products and their associated business targets and metrics.
• Collaborating closely with peers in engineering, product design, and data, you will help transform the organization to become more customer-centered, design- and data-informed, and build products that meet and exceed users’ needs across the education ecosystem.

Job Duties

• Lead the full cycle of product management for products and cross-functional teams. From opportunity assessment and ideation, through validation and delivery, to ongoing product management.
• Understand customer needs and gather product requirements.
• Collaborate with peers in a cross-functional product team to execute the strategic vision for the products, led by user insight and data, aligned to the broader business strategy, objectives, and metrics.
• Partner with product design to ensure user-centered principles are applied in product design and development. You will think in terms of experience and service design and its impact on customer experience, product metrics, and business KPIs.
• Partner with engineering to ensure that products are developed in line with the client’s overarching technology strategy, within a reasonable, implementable schedule, and that technical debt is minimized in the quest to move fast and be agile.
• Work closely with the design team to create wireframes and write requirements and specifications for all new product features and additions to existing features.
• Facilitate discussions in your team about hypotheses and lead your team through discovery, testing, and learning processes to validate or kill ideas using data and insight-driven decision-making. You’ll be a subject matter expert for your product team’s metrics and foster the use of experiments and MVT techniques where applicable.
• Follow the established product management processes and ways of working to help scale product execution and deliver cohesive product experiences as the organisation grows.
• Exhibit sound product judgment and present clear, measurable objectives that will lead to achieving business goals.
• Analyze data science and market trends and identify solutions to support product development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in a senior managerial position.
• Experience working in and managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience working for an EdTech company or on education products would be preferred.
• A proven track record of successfully driving product management in a similar role within an edtech, or a fast-paced, high-growth, technology-driven organization.
• Excellent product management skills with in-depth knowledge and experience in prioritizing product roadmaps, product strategy, and data migration.
• Strong data analytics skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward common goals.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing user needs.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong experience managing a broad range of stakeholder relationships, including managing expectations and why some features are prioritised above others.
