We are building the operating system for SMEs in Africa and are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the Products Team towards achieving our objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the Product Design Team
Responsible alongside Product Managers for the customer journey on our platforms
Implement and maintain a uniform design system across our platforms
Design user interfaces for Traction Apps merchant customers
Identify opportunities for new products
Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners
Research materials and techniques best fit for Merchants on the Traction Apps platform
Manage the design of products and components
Improve the design of existing products
Manage the gathering of feedback from product users
Requirements
B.Sc / M.Sc in Product Design, Manufacturing Design Engineering or relevant field
At least 5 years work experience as a Product Designer or similar role
Experience with design programs (like Illustrator and Sketch)
