• We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Planning Manager to join our project team in Nigeria.
• The successful candidate will lead all planning and scheduling activities for a major Oil & Gas project, ensuring timely execution, strategic planning oversight, and effective coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• This position is critical to the success of our operations and requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities
The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule for all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning)
• Lead schedule baselining and ensure adherence to planning procedures and change‑control processes
• Monitor project progress, analyze deviations, and implement mitigation or recovery plans
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, KPIs, dashboards, and critical path updates
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide data‑driven recommendations to project leadership
• Coordinate planning activities with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Lead planning review meetings and contribute to decision‑making at the project leadership level
• Ensure documentation accuracy for audits, claims, and contractual reporting.

Required Profile

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with at least 6 year experience in a Senior Planning/Project Controls role on large-scale Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• You are recognised for your excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• You have a strong command of Primavera P6 and MS Project, with a solid understanding of EPC workflows, procurement cycles, and construction sequencing.
• Professional certifications (PMP, PMI-SP, AACE) are a strong asset.
• Experience working in Africa or remote environments is an advantage.
