Senior Planning Engineer at Multinational Technologies Limited (MTL)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and report project progress against baseline plans; identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Resource Planning: Allocate resources efficiently and forecast future requirements based on workload.
• Cost Control Support: Collaborate with the cost control team to monitor budgets and evaluate cost variances.
• Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks and impacts on schedule; propose mitigation strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and variance analyses to project management and stakeholders.
• Interface Management: Coordinate planning activities across disciplines, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Change Management: Assess schedule impact of changes, variations, and scope additions.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure schedules and planning practices align with project requirements, contractual obligations, and company standards.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance to junior planners and support overall project planning strategy.

Requirements

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent from a reputable University and a minimum of twelve (12) years post-graduation experience, out of which six (6) must have been spent on a similar position in the oil and gas sector.
• Shall be NSE/ COREN Registered.
• Ability to drive and possession of valid driver’s license is required.
