Our client is a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Senior Pastry Chef de Partie.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, bake, and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Supervise junior pastry chefs and commis staff, providing training and guidance.
• Ensure consistency in recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Assist in developing new pastry and dessert recipes for menus, buffets, and events.
• Maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and minimize wastage.
• Uphold strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in line with HACCP.
• Collaborate with the wider culinary team to support banquets, events, and special functions.
• Report maintenance needs for pastry equipment and ensure proper usage.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Catering, or related field, with specialization in pastry.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in pastry within a hotel or fine-dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, chocolate work, bread, and plated desserts.
