Carry out development and detailed design engineering activities, including co-ordination with the various discipline groups, to engineer the next phase of minimal facility platforms (MFP’s) in the Gulf of Thailand.
Specific Accountabilities
Perform engineering design duties associated with the development of the next phase of MFP’s, being designed by Worley.
Duties will include equipment selection and specification, detail design in collaboration with designers and bid evaluation/ vendor document review and approval.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil & Gas Business Unit
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Requirements
+10 Years Mechanical design experience in the Oil & Gas environment, including a minimum of 2 years experience in offshore developments.
Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline
Experience with the development of layouts for new facilities
Experienced in the specification, evaluation and documentation of equipment for producing oil/gas fields
Work is performed in accordance with broad technical guidelines and with minimal supervision.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritisation of work to achieve them.
