Senior Mechanic Engineer for Car Section at Global Profilers

Job Responsibilites

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in cars
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Lead a team of truck mechanics
• Train and mentor technicians
• Develop and implement maintenance programs to improve fleet reliability and reduce downtime
• Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure efficient repair processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and manufacturer updates.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B. Eng / High National Diploma or equivalent required
• 7+ years of experience as a car engineer
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Post-secondary training in car operations and repair or a related field
• ASE Master Technician certification (or equivalent)
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with fleet maintenance and repair operations .
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools
• Manufacturer-specific training programs (e.g.Toyota, Ford, Honda)
• Advanced diagnostic and repair courses
• Leadership and management training
• Safety training and certification (e.g. OSHA).
