Summary

• Provide vision, guidance, installation, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of various technology products. Assist with the coordination of team activities and tracking team workload.
• Act as point of contact for client requests coming to the team. Resolve employee concerns. Continuously improve team and department. Participate in performance management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead technical team to help achieve business objectives and goals.
• Manage team workload effectively and professionally.
• Report to leadership the status of efforts and areas of concern.
• Ensure excellent customer service and prompt responses to escalations.
• Act as technical liaison to other departments.
• Communicate with and solve problems to meet the needs of clients.
• Guide, mentor, and train team members.
• Prioritize and evangelize security within the team and with external clients.
• Pursue continuous improvements to team, processes, and systems.
• Participate in information-gathering meetings with clients to determine client needs, business goals, and desired outcomes.
• Solves problems, aids other departments, answers questions about technical functionality, and provides technical support.
• Participate in large projects requiring analysis and design skills.
• Write user and technical documentation.
• Keep documentation updated.
• Keeps current with technology in use and stays informed and aware of industry best practices.

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• Industry certification is desired.
• Proven leadership experience is required.
