    Senior Interior Architect

    Role Summary

    • The Senior Interior Architect is responsible for leading the creative, technical, and executional aspects of interior design projects from concept to completion.
    • The role requires combining architectural knowledge with interior design expertise to create functional, aesthetic, and brand-aligned spaces.
    • The Senior Interior Architect will oversee design teams, liaise with clients, collaborate with the showroom and furniture manufacturing units, and ensure high-quality project delivery within timelines and budgets.

    Key Responsibilities
    Design & Project Leadership:

    • Lead the conceptualization, design development, and execution of interior architecture projects (residential, commercial, and bespoke).
    • Translate client briefs into innovative design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost-efficiency.
    • Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, material boards, and 3D visualizations for client approval.
    • Supervise the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and contractors to ensure smooth implementation.

    Client Engagement & Business Support:

    • Serve as the primary design contact for clients, ensuring needs are fully understood and expectations exceeded.
    • Conduct site visits, measurements, and inspections throughout project lifecycle.
    • Provide expert design input for showroom layouts, displays, and furniture integration to support sales.
    • Collaborate with the furniture manufacturing team to design bespoke furniture pieces tailored to projects.

    Team Leadership & Mentorship:

    • Supervise junior architects, designers, and interns, providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring.
    • Review and approve design deliverables from the team to ensure accuracy and quality.
    • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the design department.

    Quality & Compliance:

    • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
    • Conduct quality checks on design execution, materials, and finishes.
    • Manage budgets and timelines to deliver projects within scope.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.
    • Professional certification and registration (e.g., ARCON, NIA, or equivalent) preferred.
    • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive design experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/leadership role.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end residential, commercial, and bespoke interior projects.
    • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting design, and furniture detailing.
    • Strong project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
