    Senior Game Designer (Product Designer)

    Job Description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the user interface and game mechanics of the leaderboard and badge system, as well as providing insights into how these features can effectively incentivize learners and improve learning outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Design the user interface and game mechanics for the leaderboard and badge system according to the requirements defined in the project scope
    • Provide insights and recommendations on how the leaderboard and badge system can effectively incentivize learners and improve learning outcomes
    • Work collaboratively with the Afrilearn team to ensure the gamification features align with the learning goals of the platform
    • Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in game design and development

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in game design, with a focus on developing gamification features such as leaderboards and badge systems
    • Strong skills in user interface design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
    • A passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes in Africa
