Senior Fund/Portfolio Manager at People Capacity Management

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment portfolios, focusing on mortgage-related assets, including MBS, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and other fixed-income products.
• Drive the strategic direction of portfolios to achieve superior returns while managing complex risks
• Formulate long-term strategies based on macroeconomic trends, market forecasts, and housing sector developments.
• Develop enterprise-level risk models to evaluate portfolio exposure to prepayment, default, and market risks.
• Report on portfolio returns, risk-adjusted performance, and strategic outlook to executive teams, boards, and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary decision-maker for portfolio adjustments and team leadership in high-stakes situations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, such as SEC rules or industry standards and policies

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Must have relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA or FRM)
• 10 -15 years of proven experince with a backgroud in stock brokage
• Must be able to trade in different instruments with a good understanding of the Capital Market
• Proficiency in advanced financial tools like Bloomberg Terminal, MATLAB, SAS, or similar platforms
• A good understanding of interest rate dynamics and their impact on mortgage assets.
