Senior Finance Manager at Resource Intermediaries Limited

Job Summary:

• The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing oversight and strategic leadership for the finance function.
• He/She will drive compliance and commercial control; as well as the Financial Strategy and lead strategic and operational plans in protecting the revenues/profits of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise the Board and Executive Management on business priorities and financial matters.
• Collaborate on strategy development and contribute to future direction.
• Assist in creating the Corporate Performance Management framework, providing financial insights and requirements.
• Design the company's Capitalization Structure and assess long-term investment opportunities.
• Recommend and implement optimal balance sheet structures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Interpret financial statements to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and enforce Taxation Framework and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Oversee regulatory compliance in internal accounting processes and reporting.
• Drive company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Lead the Finance Team, fostering cohesion and productivity.
• Manage strategic cost management efforts and implement activity-based costing measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• MBA/MSc in Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of Asset Management experience.
• Proficiency in GAAP and IFRS reporting required.
• Experience in Corporate Finance is advantageous.
• Professional certification such as CFA, ACCA, or CGMA preferred.
• Skilled in collaborating with Executive Management to develop Finance strategies.
• Comfortable using digital tools for analytics, reporting, and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound financial judgments in complex environments.
• Familiarity with corporate governance, especially in new/start-up companies.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex financial situations.
• Competent in strategy, corporate finance, treasury, tax, financial modeling, budget forecasting, cost management, financial reporting, compliance, and investment planning.
