    Maintenance Manager - Electrical

    The Role:

    You will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our maintenance program, ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our foundry equipment and machinery. From developing preventive maintenance plans to troubleshooting malfunctions and managing a team of technicians, you will be instrumental in maximizing uptime and minimizing production disruptions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to identify and address potential equipment issues before they escalate.
    • Schedule and oversee maintenance activities, coordinating with production planning to minimize downtime.
    • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing coaching, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, effectively resolving issues and restoring equipment functionality.
    • Manage the maintenance department budget, collaborating with procurement to ensure efficient acquisition of parts and materials.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in foundry maintenance technologies and energy management.
    • Implement and enforce safety regulations within the foundry environment.
    • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or replacements, working with engineering and procurement to optimize solutions.
    • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing or foundry environment.
    • Bachelor's degree/HND in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
    • Strong understanding of foundry equipment and processes.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
    • Experience in leading and motivating a team of maintenance technicians.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in maintenance management software a plus.
    • Commitment to safety and a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
