We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) to join our engineering team and lead the automation, deployment, and scaling of our cloud infrastructure. You'll play a critical role in managing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud usage, and ensuring the smooth deployment of our Python/Django applications — with a particular focus on containerized environments using AWS services like Fargate etc. This role is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure automation, scalable architecture, and driving DevOps best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python/Django applications
Build and manage secure, scalable cloud environments using AWS, with emphasis on AWS Fargate
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy using Fargate or other ECS services
Automate infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Monitor system performance, availability, and cost-efficiency
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless feature releases and infrastructure support
Implement robust observability, logging, and alerting systems
Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and system hardening initiatives
Enforce cloud and application security best practices
Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering role
Strong experience deploying and managing Python/Django applications in production
Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially AWS Fargate, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Deep knowledge of Docker and container orchestration on AWS
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation)
Comfortable with Linux administration, networking, and shell scripting
Strong understanding of security, monitoring, and compliance in cloud environments
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm (if not using Fargate in all deployments)
Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana
Exposure to microservices and serverless architectures
Experience with cost optimization in AWS environments
