We are on an evolutionary journey where we’re changing our story. We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our diverse team in our Company.

This role is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects.

Location – Okija

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Project management: Lead and manage large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
• Design and planning: Develop and implement designs for infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water treatment systems.
• Team leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project requirements are met.
• Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring project safety and minimizing delays.
• Technical expertise: Provide technical guidance and support on complex engineering projects.
• Quality control: Ensure projects meet quality standards, codes, and regulations.
• Budgeting and cost management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on project progress, issues, and outcomes.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Masters in Structural Engineering will be an advantage
• Membership of relevant professional body (COREN, NSE etc)
• Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification relevant working experience.
• Candidate should have worked in a Construction Company or project-based organization.
• Computer Literacy and Knowledge.
• Good Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Good Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving Skills.
