Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Biomedical Engineer to provide strategic leadership in managing biomedical engineering operations across multiple healthcare sites. 
• The ideal candidate will lead a team of biomedical engineers, ensure regulatory and reporting compliance, drive innovation, and support the organization’s long-term biomedical engineering objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-site biomedical engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee medical equipment planning, acquisition, deployment, and lifecycle management across all sites.
• Analyze performance metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement in biomedical engineering services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of biomedical engineers.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation, optimizing maintenance schedules and budgets
• Provide oversight of biomedical engineering teams across various healthcare facilities.
• Ensure all sites comply with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and accreditation standards.
• Establish standardized processes for equipment maintenance, calibration, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure all sites adhere to the approved reporting standards, reviewing reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Implement systems for consistent data collection, reporting, and documentation of biomedical engineering activities.
• Conduct periodic audits and site inspections to assess compliance with operational and reporting standards.
• Partner with hospital administrators, clinicians, and procurement teams to align biomedical engineering services with clinical needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with medical device manufacturers, service providers, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in biomedical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership/strategic role.
• Extensive experience in healthcare facility management.
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment planning, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
