Articulate clients’ briefs and development of conceptual designs.
Assist in developing and/or coordinating the development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for the project has been obtained.
Supervise implementation works on site according to designer directions.
Develop 3D images using Auto-CAD and Sketch Up 3D software and other required software for holistic design appreciation.
Creating 3D architectural rendering and virtual tour videos for projects as needed by clients.
Schedules meetings with clients to provide updates on projects.
Review design to incorporate clients’ comments and changes as requested.
Develops and draughts general arrangement construction drawings and schedules.
Provide a timeline for illustration assignments to clients.
Liaises with construction professionals and related regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Monitors all commercial information about projects including labour, material and contractor cost forecasting to ensure budget adherence.
Provides report updates to relevant stake holders MD/CEO, team lead, principal partner at specified times.
Develops presentation packages and reports for design proposals.
Works with team to determine materials to be used for specific requirements for projects.
Adapt plans according to circumstances and resolve any related problems that may arise during construction.
Keeps up-to-date on the latest trends in the industry and has a knowledge base to maintaina cutting-edge skill set.
Carries out architectural research and assists in putting together articles.
Assists with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.
Educational / Professional Background
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a reputable and accredited university.
Master's Degree in Architecture – added advantage
Certification in related 3D software - added advantage.
12 - 15 years of relevant working experience.
Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects is also an added advantage.
Knowledge / Skills:
High-level proficiency in the use of Auto-CAD and Sketch Up 3D or any other design applications like Revit, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, V-Ray, and Flash.
Extensive 3D illustration skills in Interior designs, Exterior and Interior Architecture Schemes.
Strong knowledge of building products, construction relevant, regulations and quality standards.
