Senior Accounting Officer at Fadac Resources

Our client is a group of passionate and hard-working action-takers who are in the business of eradicating trash. They research and develop new technologies with the aim of reducing plastic pollution in the areas. They are currently in need of a SENIOR ACCOUNTING OFFICER 

LOCATION: IBAFO OGUN STATE 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns
• Ultimately, provide management with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, with all tax regulations
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A degree in Accounting or any other related course
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
• Relevant professional certification required e.g Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants of (ACCA)
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
