Senior Accountant at Workforce Group

The Senior Accountant would be responsible for preparing financial reports, executing account reconciliations, managing the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and completing other accounting duties as assigned. 

Responsibility

• Handle the day to day finance activities (included AP, GL booking and petty cash disbursements)
• Handle the AR receipts booking & controlling activities, closed alignment with Egypt billing team.
• Handle the tax payment process and documentation.
• Participate in finance controlling activities (Bank /balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets regular physical count)
• Participate in any ad hoc analysis or finance projects.
• Support Nigeria finance manager in monthly reporting through NI Hyperion tool (FCCS)
• Support Africa team in Egypt with ad hoc projects.
• Candidate will work 50% of time with Africa team tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor of commerce/business.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting /finance activities.
• Oracle experience is required.
• Analytical analysis experience.
• Post graduate certifications (CMA/IFRS)
