Job Description

• We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong background in finance and accounting to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience, be a Chartered Accountant, and have experience working in a finance company.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a significant portion of that time spent in a finance company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
