We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong background in finance and accounting to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience, be a Chartered Accountant, and have experience working in a finance company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and records.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, standards, and regulations.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process.
Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a significant portion of that time spent in a finance company.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
