Senior Accountant at Peopleware Consulting Ltd

Key Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of bank statements.
• Preparation of financial statements and budgets.
• Keeping and preparation of accounting books.
• Negotiating costs of goods and services with vendors for procurement.
• Relating with external clients such as tax authorities and financial institutions.
• Preparation and maintenance of cashbooks.
• Documentation and tracking of payments.
• Issuance of payment receipts.
• Processing of invoices, accounts payable and receivable.

Qualifications and Job-Related Experience

• Minimum of a B.Sc. in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role.
• Experience with the use of accounting softwares.
• ICAN certification
• Experience coordinating a team of accountants is an advantage.

Skill Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of Nig tax laws, IFRS principles and best practice.
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
• Excellent numeric skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Detail orientation.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
