Senior Accountant at Fadac Resources

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Oversee cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation and production costing
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
• Improve internal controls and accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required
• Minimum of 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
