Job Summary

• The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, statutory compliance, and preparing financial reports to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and ensure all daily financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• ⁠Prepare daily bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and update creditors ageing reports on a weekly basis.
• Handle statutory obligations including PAYE, Pension, VAT, and WHT remittances.
• ⁠Prepare and submit required financial reports and schedules.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ICAN/ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
• ⁠Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles.
