    Security Program Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Security Program Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive security programs to protect the company’s personnel, assets, infrastructure, and operations. Operating within high-risk environments, the Security Program Manager will coordinate security operations, ensure compliance with national and international regulations, and manage crisis response strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic security programs.
    • Lead risk assessments, threat analyses, and vulnerability evaluations across company sites.
    • Implement site-specific security plans and emergency response protocols.
    • Coordinate physical security systems: access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and perimeter security.
    • Liaise with law enforcement, government agencies, and third-party contractors to ensure compliance and collaborative support.
    • Supervise and train internal and outsourced security teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
    • Manage security audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Monitor geopolitical and local risks affecting company operations, and provide executive briefings.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, HSE guidelines, and corporate policies.
    • Maintain security project budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

    Key Requirements:

    Education & Certification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, PMP, CISSP for cybersecurity overlap).

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 8–10 years in corporate security, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or critical infrastructure sectors.
    • Proven experience in managing security operations in high-risk or remote environments.
    • Experience working with law enforcement, military, or security agencies is a plus.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
    • Deep understanding of physical and technical security systems.
    • Knowledge of oil and gas sector security risks and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to travel to and manage remote field locations.
