Job Description

• Farmyad Security Personnel are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's employees, visitors, property, and assets. This role involves monitoring and patrolling premises, managing access control, responding to incidents, and enforcing company security policies.

Responsibilities

Surveillance and Monitoring:

• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including offices, buildings, and parking areas.
• Report any suspicious activities or security breaches.

Access Control:

• Manage entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors have access.
• Check identification and issue visitor passes as necessary.
• Maintain logs of all visitors, contractors, and deliveries.

Incident Response:

• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Coordinate with emergency services, including police, fire, and medical personnel.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain records.

Policy Enforcement:

• Enforce company policies related to security, safety, and conduct.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents and assist with internal audits.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on security-related issues.

Safety Inspections:

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure that all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency exits, are in good working order.

Training and Development:

• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and procedures.
• Provide security awareness training to employees.

Qualifications

• WAEC, OND, HND, B.Sc in Security Studies and Intelligence with military training or equivalent;
• Additional certification in security or law enforcement is a plus.
• Previous experience in a security role preferred.
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in using security systems and software.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy objects when necessary.
• Good physical condition to handle the demands of patrolling and responding to incidents.

Working Conditions:

• Shift work may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• May be exposed to various weather conditions while patrolling outdoor areas.
