Security Officer at Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL)

Purpose

• Effective and Efficient monitoring of the CCTV cameras.
• Process Compliance Monitoring.
• Timely and accurate Reporting.

Key Responsibilities Strategic

• Perform daily control room tasks with high integrity and efficiency.
• Monitor CCTV and report any unusual activity to the Line Manager/Duty Security Officer.
• Respond promptly to radio checks and keep accurate records of all communication.
• Keep a record of any incidents and report these to the Duty Security Officer
• Monitor vehicle and staff movements via our Geolocation software.
• Issue radio batteries to mobile guards on the instruction of the Operations Manager.
• Report any alarm activation to the Operations Security Manager.
• Manage the main switchboard, answer all the calls and direct them to the right team or department promptly and courteously.
• Identify and recommend changes to improve our security operations.
• Any other duty as directed by the Operations Manager or Line Manager

Work Plan:

• Two shift system (Morning and Night)
• Shift Timing (M: 7:30am - 6:00pm, N: 6:00pm - 7:30am).

Education / Experience

• OND in any Pure & Applied Science discipline.
• Computer Literate.
• Preferably with security experience background.
• Good analytical and coordinating skill.
• Goals-driven, focused and proactive.
• Good communication skill - verbal & written.
• Must be discernibly honest and of consistent upright character.
• Must exhibit good ethical standards and professional conduct.
