Security Officer (Executive Protection) at Prime Spectrum Nigeria

SERVICE DIMENSIONS

• Responsible for the close protection of VIP(s) (national and internationals) as may be assigned
• Coordination of close protection officers, OPG Policemen, Spy police drivers and VIP civilian drivers

Management of all VIP vehicles

• Interface with Districts on planning of security, safety and health for visiting VIP(s)
• Support in Training of VIP team

ACTIVITIES

• Responsible for VIP Protection/Safety
• Ability for close protection officers to work as a team
• Develop roles/responsibilities for close protection officer
• Surveillance of area to be visited by VIP(s)
• Develop and implement planning, risk/threat assessment for VIP movement.
• Intelligence gathering and security planning
• Develop operational orders for assignment
• Supervise close protection officers and orderlies attached to the MD/CE
• Plan and execute all VIP escorts
• Assign team leader and task he should perform
• Monitor and supervise all VIP escort
• Pre-departure briefing and debriefing of every movement carried out

Non- Routine Escort Planning

• Plan all non-routine escort movement daily
• Interface with logistics, airport protocols and Travels for any issue that may arise.
• Report escort process performance
• Security breaches, incident and downgraded situations and movement of VIP.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

• Lagos
• Medium risk but volatile and unpredictable situations with possibility of visits to Port Harcourt and Abuja as may be required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• University degree in Arts or Sciences. Social Sciences preferred and French Language ability is an added advantage.
• 10 years of industrial / private security experience
• Personal leadership skills, time management, relationship and team building, problem solving, good initiative and good decision-making skills.
