We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and property. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols, monitor security cameras, and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents promptly.
• Access Control: Manage access points, verify the identity of individuals entering the premises, and ensure only authorized personnel are granted entry.
• Security Checks: Perform thorough inspections of bags, packages, and belongings to prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, and take appropriate action following established protocols.
• Alarm Systems: Monitor and respond to alarms, investigate the cause, and take necessary actions as per established procedures.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers, answering their queries and addressing concerns professionally.
• Incident Reporting: Document all incidents, accidents, and unusual activities in detailed reports and ensure proper communication with the relevant stakeholders.
• Security Policies Enforcement: Enforce company security policies, rules, and regulations to maintain a secure environment.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts and disturbances diplomatically, aiming to de-escalate situations and maintain order.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other security team members, management, and law enforcement agencies when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be willing to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
