Security Area Operations Manager at Bemil Nigeria Limited

Responsibilities
Security Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement regional security operations plans aligned with organisation'ssecurity strategy.
• Identify risks and vulnerabilities across sites and create mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular threat assessments, risk analysis, and incident trend monitoring.

Operational Oversight:

• Manage day-to-day security operations across all sites within the region.
• Ensure consistent application of policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
• Oversee performance of local security teams and third-party vendors.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and mentor regional security personnel, ensuring a culture of safety and responsiveness.
• Manage recruitment, training, and development of security staff.
• Provide leadership during security incidents and crisis situations.

Vendor & Budget Management:

• Manage contracts and relationships with third-party security service providers.
• Oversee regional security budget, ensuring cost-effective deployment of resources.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external agencies where required.
• Prepare reports on regional security performance, incidents, and metrics for senior leadership.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory bodies.
• Work cross-functionally with HR, Facilities, Legal, and other departments.
