Job Summary

• We are seeking a responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious driver to join our school team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting students, staff, and school materials safely and efficiently while ensuring that the school vehicle is properly maintained and operated in accordance with traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and staff to and from school, field trips, and other approved locations.
• Ensure strict adherence to traffic laws and school transport safety guidelines.
• Maintain discipline and ensure the safety of students while on board the vehicle.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights, etc.) before and after trips.
• Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and in good working condition at all times.
• Report any mechanical faults or accidents promptly to the appropriate authority.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with minor errands or logistics duties when required by the school management.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or its equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of proven driving experience, preferably in a school or similar environment.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes within the city.
• Ability to remain calm and responsible while driving students.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
