CIFMAN COLLEGE is a co-educational secondary institution, founded in April 2009, with a focus on offering all-around education through an integrated scheme of a mix of Nigerian and British curricula.
The curricula and co curricula activities are student-centered and are channeled towards students’ strength and their core competence in a bid to achieve independence in learning and learners being critical to what they learn.

The school is currently searching for a certified licensed professional school counselor who will assist and advise students about academic and personal life decisions to ensure the social and emotional well-being of students and access the ability and potential of students

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for conducting individual or group counseling sessions to advise and assist students with academic and vocational skills development.
• Evaluate students’ attributes and assist them in realizing their objectives as well as attaining their goals.
• Responsible for developing and implementing counseling strategies with contemporary methods of mentoring.
• To prepare periodic reports as requested by the school
• To coordinate the school career day and other counseling programs.
• To maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning through the establishment and enforcement of meaningful, reasonable behavioral expectations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Counselling or other relevant Discipline
• Relevant experience of at least 3year in the field 
• Professional qualification is an added advantage
• Applicable understanding of the use of 21st Century teaching techniques in or out of the classroom
