    Sales Support Executive

    JOB OVERVIEW

    • The Sales Support Executive is responsible for seeking new business opportunities, selling the Company’s solutions and services, initiating and building favorable and professional client relationships with a goal to achieve sales targets. The role may also be assigned periodically to provide administrative support to designated accounts managed by Senior Client Sales Managers.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Observe and take ownership of account management responsibilities
    • Take responsibility for individual sales target
    • Develop extensive knowledge and understanding of solutions and services offered by TigerLogic and remain up to date on trends in the IT industry
    • Identify and grow opportunities within assigned accounts
    • Establish relationships with existing clients, identifying possible areas to upsell or cross-sell
    • Work with the sales team to prepare proposals that address customers’ needs
    • Communicate with prospective customers to understand their needs and collaborate with internal teams to find suitable solutions that best fit the individual needs of the customer
    • As often required, work with the Solution Sales team to scope and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions to customers
    • Work with senior management to negotiate contracts and successfully close agreements to maximize profits
    • Liaise between customers and the engineering team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions and services according to customers’ requirements
    • Take responsibility for resolving sales related issues and escalating to senior management where necessary under assigned account(s)
    • Develop new ideas to retain existing customers.
    • Work closely with the General Manager, Sales to update the sales pipeline
    • Give regular reports to the GM Sales on sales activities, sales leads and updates
    • Present periodic performance reports to senior management.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
    • At least 1 year of business to business sales experience
    • Ability to identify opportunities
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
    • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or other relevant role
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
    • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
    • Ability to juggle multiple accounts at a time, while maintaining attention to detail
    • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
    • Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette
    • Resilient with strong organization and relationship building skills
    • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
