    Sales State Lead

    Job Description
    This is a remote position.

    Johnvents is recruiting Sales State Leads across the country that will be resident in the state they intend to operate from.

    As a leading processor of cocoa into Cocoa products such as, butter, liquor, cake and powder, we operate one of Nigeria’s largest Cocoa Processing Factory’s located in, Nigeria.


    The responsibilities of the State Sales Lead are as follows;

    • Direct and coordinate state-level efforts regarding sales of cocoa products.
    • Drive depot sales targets and act as the team's leader in the field of sales
    • Address client complaints about products and services
    • Analyze financial information and operational records to forecast sales.
    • Keep track of consumer preferences to decide where to concentrate sales efforts.
    • Participate in the field sales team's performance reviews.
    • Disclose the timely payment of channel partners' incentives and allowances (depot).
    • Oversee, direct, and organize receiving, shipping, and accounting for sales and services.
    • Provide depots and distributors with policy and operational guidance to guarantee the business's operational effectiveness.
    • Hold meetings or communicate with department leaders to discuss marketing, advertising, and consumer needs.
    • Attend trade association meetings as a corporate representative to market products.
    • Examine a product's marketing potential
    • Examine the marketing possibilities of both new and current shop locations while taking expenditures and data into account.
    • Find distribution avenues (Depot).
    • Ensure that the salary of the sales personnel (field sales, canvassers, etc.) are paid on time.
    • Recruit channel partners (distributor, etc.) to serve as an extension of the product sales force.
    • Finding, developing, and exploiting new market possibilities.
    • Establish and preserve solid, ongoing connections with customers.
    • Daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operational/sales outcomes, activities, etc.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc/HND Marketing, Business Admin or other Social Sciences.
    • Relevant Master's Degree/ professional qualifications is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years cogent experience in the FMCG industry is mandatory.
    • Candidate must be a good negotiator and effective communicator with great interpersonal skills.
    • Candidate must have demonstrable experience in leading teams
    • Candidate should be proactive, honest, energetic and passionate
    • Candidate must be resident in State they intend to work in.
