    Sales Operations Officer

    Job Summary

    • Jamara Operations Limited is a leading player in the home appliances sector, committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Officer to join our dynamic team.
    • In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between our Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams. Your primary objective is to ensure that customer orders are processed accurately, fulfilled promptly, and delivered seamlessly. You will be responsible for optimizing order-to-delivery workflows, maintaining data integrity, and resolving operational bottlenecks to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    Order Management & Fulfillment

    • Oversee the end-to-end order processing cycle, from order entry to final delivery confirmation.
    • Validate sales orders for accuracy, pricing, discounts, and credit terms before releasing them to the warehouse.
    • Prioritize and schedule orders based on customer promise dates, stock availability, and delivery capacity.
    • Monitor real-time order status and proactively communicate updates or delays to the sales team and customers.

    Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Act as the primary liaison between the Sales team, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure smooth workflow and information flow.
    • Coordinate with the warehouse team to confirm stock availability, allocate inventory, and prioritize picking and packing schedules.
    • Work with logistics partners to schedule deliveries, optimize routes, and resolve last-mile delivery issues.
    • Facilitate daily operations huddles to align on priorities, exceptions, and urgent customer requests.

    Process Optimization & Reporting

    • Identify bottlenecks in the order-to-delivery process and recommend improvements to reduce lead times and errors.
    • Maintain and update order tracking dashboards, providing daily/weekly reports on order status, fulfillment rates, and delivery performance.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, backlog levels, and return rates.
    • Partner with IT and operations teams to enhance system automation and data flow between CRM, WMS, and TMS platforms.

    Customer Experience Support

    • Resolve order-related escalations from the sales team, including stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and delivery rescheduling.
    • Ensure all post-sales documentation (invoices, delivery notes, waybills) is accurate and properly filed.
    • Support the sales team with real-time inventory visibility to enable accurate customer commitments.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

    Experience

    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, order management, supply chain coordination, or logistics, preferably within the home appliances, FMCG, or retail distribution sector.
    • Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams (Sales, Warehouse, Logistics).

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and order management software.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
    • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) is a strong advantage.

    Soft Skills & Competencies

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to diagnose operational gaps and implement practical solutions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – capable of influencing and collaborating with diverse teams.
    • High attention to detail – accuracy in order processing and data entry is non-negotiable.
    • Ability to work under pressure – thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high order volumes.
    • Customer-centric mindset – always prioritizes the end-customer experience.
    • Proactive and self-driven – takes initiative to improve processes without waiting for instructions.
