    Sales / Online Customer Support Officer

    A leading furniture manufacturer in Nigeria is looking to hire a Customer/Online Sales Support Personnel.
    Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal oriented. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills.
    Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales operations.

    Job Description

    • Effectively manage client enquiries, complaints and feedback.
    • Provide accurate information to clients and ensure timely response to inquiries via virtual channels.
    • Manage sales tracking tools and social engagement tools; provide data reports and trend analysis.
    • Implement targeted sales strategies and monitor sales performance.
    • Keep record of client interactions, transactions, feedbacks, and complaints.
    • Act as liaison between clients and internal production teams on pending orders, customization requests and returns.
    • Help with sales-related problems, enter new orders, track orders, investigate shipping issues and manage customer accounts.
    • Stay up to date on new product releases and demonstrate good knowledge of company’s products, discounts, and promotions for the purpose of introducing, upselling, and cross-selling.
    • Schedule meetings and sales appointments and follow up on order fulfilment and service quality.
    • Generate sales leads and maintain high conversion rate.
    • Maintain excellent client satisfaction and provide professional client support always.
    • Acknowledge clients by responding to emails, text messages, chats and phone calls. 
    • Maintain positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward clients at all times.


    • Bachelor’s degree (Mass Communication, Marketing or Business Administration may be plus)
    • Experience in a similar role is an added advantage
    • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
    • Excellent communication skills 
    • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
    • Analytical and multitasking skills
    • Teamwork and motivational skills
