    Sales Officer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Officer at Wayfare Travels in Lagos.
    • The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • This role requires strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to business development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
    • Present travel products and services to prospective clients and negotiate sales contracts.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
    • Track sales performance and report on progress to management.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in service-based sales roles or the travel industry is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in CRM and sales management software.
    • Customer Service and Communication skills
    • Lead Generation and Sales Operations skills
    • Experience in Channel Sales
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills
