Sales Officer at VFD Group

Job Summary

• Identify and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Present and promote company products and services to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Job Details

Sales Operations:

•  Submission of daily marketing reports to the Head of Department and preparation of Month‐end reports for MPR sessions •
•  Participate in sales campaigns and effective delivery of all organizational programs that promote the Company’s visibility and client base expansion.

Communication and Reporting:

• To liaise with Client Experience for all Operations units, regularly.

Requirements

• First Degree, BSc from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 3 ‐7 years sales or business development experience in the financial service industry 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven understanding of the regulatory environment affecting the banking business.
• A strong record of meeting and exceeding monthly targets, while providing excellent customer service.
• An analytical approach to work.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
• The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
• Understanding of business and credit analysis.
• Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• The ability and desire to sell.
• Strong understanding of sales metrics with the ability to identify areas for improvement
