The Sales Officer – Fixed Line is a high-energy, frontline executive position focused on customer acquisition, relationship management, and revenue retention within a designated residential cluster or estate.
This is a 100% direct, door-to-door, field sales role requiring an aggressive self-starter.
You will handle the entire sales pipeline from cold calling and prospecting to payment collection, customer onboarding, and lifecycle management, ensuring subscription revenue targets are met consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct extensive daily cold calling, door-to-door mapping, and prospecting within designated home estates and commercial clusters to build a robust sales funnel.
Manage the complete sales cycle: prospect identification, product description, Customer Application Form (CAF) sign-up, payment collection, and coordinating with tech teams for final broadband installation.
Pitch to and build lasting relationships with Estate Facility Managers to grant access for neighborhood marketing activations; appoint and manage Sub-Sales Agents (SSAs) to scale lead generation.
Act as the first point of contact for onboarded clients; liaise directly with customer care to facilitate easy data recharges and fast-track complaint resolutions to keep churn low.
Track local competitor presence, downtime, and tariff adjustments within your assigned territory. Submit detailed daily sales logs and pipeline updates to the ASM.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
2 - 3 years of direct, frontline sales experience exclusively within a Nigerian ISP, Telecom, or MVNO operator (e.g., ipNX, Coollink/ISN, Cobranet, FibreOne, VDT, Swift, Smile, Airtel, MTN, MainOne, etc.).
Verifiable backgroundonlyin direct field sales, door-to-door pitches, cluster marketing, and aggressive cold calling. (Retail counter or telesales experience will not be considered).
Deep knowledge of residential estates and business clusters onLagos Island
High energy, stable career history (no frequent job-hopping), exceptional time management, and the ability to work independently in a challenging field environment.
