Overview

• We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales / Marketing Officer to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our products/services.
• This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, marketing and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans to achieve business goals and targets.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and provide insights to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create and execute effective marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
• Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, emails, networking events, and social media.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, providing product information, and guiding them through the sales process.
• Monitor and report on sales and marketing activities, performance metrics, and progress toward targets.
• Assist in creating and updating marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and promotional content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and other departments.

Requirements

• OND and HND
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in sales and/or marketing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and information to clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
• Knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, including digital marketing and social media.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting client relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• The proactive and results-driven mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Willingness to learn about our products/services and stay informed about industry trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design skills are a plus.
