Sales, Marketing & Media Manager at Zercom Systems

Overview

• If you live and breathe marketing, we want to talk to you. We're looking for an experienced and motivated person to coordinate our Media, Marketing & Sales activities.

Responsibilities
Sales Marketing:

• Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
• Set up meetings with potential clients and work with them to deliver a win-win proposal
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
• Create routine reviews and reports with sales and financial data
• Carry out duties assigned including participation on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.

Digital / Social Media Marketing:

• Oversee day-to-day the planning of our digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO / SEM, email, social media, display advertising and ensure brand consistency
• Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
• Work with the brand to create and implement social media strategies monthly
• Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology
• Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
• Expand Blank Space's digital presence as well as communicating, marketing and positioning our brand
• Press release writing, Writing for media, Scriptwriting
• Designing and creating visual content for all media platforms
• Write engaging and informative blog posts
• Proofreading/spelling and grammar checks
• Recommend and roll out social listening tools to participate in social conversations around the web with respect to Zercom Systems
• Grow our Social Media followings and engagement
• Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
• Stay attuned to changing media trends and create engaging experiences for our customer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Experience in Google Analytics is strongly preferred
• Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
• Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
• Curiosity and willingness to explore new media trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable assessing priorities, good interpersonal skills and judgement.
