    Sales Manager

    As a Sales Manager, you wilbe driving the sales performance for the Nigerian market, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with globastrategy.
    Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you wilbe led to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.
    Your responsibilities

    • Identify new business opportunities and create clear strategies to convert them. Develop specific customer and campaign plans, driving leadership in their execution.
    • Increase sales performance within the Nigerian region and accountable for implementing and executing the monthly, quarterly and annuasales strategy.
    • Provide regular reporting to sales management, including sales pipeline development, forecasting, key account status, market condition updates, sales results and team earnings.
    • Position LONGi as leading brand in the region in close collaboration with our Marketing team.
    • Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region, participate in the formulation of the sales contract negotiation and contract confirmation.
    • Strong understanding of the utility market across sub-saharan Africa: policies, programmes, customers, stakeholders and key issues.
    • Respond to RFQs/RFPs across different segments of the market.
    • Conduct contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks.
    • Complete the relevant reports and jobs designated by the regionasales director, and attend the relevant regular meetings.
    • Responsible for customer support during entire sales cycle to include, but not limited to:
    • Responsible for internaacceptance and approvaof customer orders.
    • Work with the logistics and sales support to ensure that customer receives optimasupport and ensure proper order fulfilment.
    • Assist, and if need be, lead recovery efforts for LONGi account receivables
    • Assists with budget management to ensure expenses meet target goals.
    • Represent LONGi at conferences, customer events and exhibitions within the region.

    Candidtate Background

    • Experience in direct sales and sales management, at least 2 years of working experience in the photovoltaic industry is preferred.
    • Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling.
    • A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commerciaand legaterms.
    • Strong coordination and influencing skills.
    • Experience with utilities, EPCs, Developers, IPPs and Distributors in the region is preferred.
    • Experience in a project and sales driven environment with internationamarkets and cross functionateams preferred.
    • Demonstrated record of success, with consistent increase in responsibility and duties.
    • Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
    • Organization and detail-orientation skills is a must.
    • Exceptionacommunication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional, “can-do” attitude.
    • A Bachelor’s degree or above.
    • Fluency in English language both oraand written.
    • Ability to travewithin the region up to 70% of the time.
