    Sales Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Formulate sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
    • Translate marketing strategy into an operational sales plan.
    • Develop new products relevant to the growth of the business.
    • Ensure channel managers are well-trained and motivated to achieve sales and service targets.
    • Retain and expand market share for the business.
    • Achieve objectives in terms of sales, visibility, recruiting, and customer service.
    • Handle all foreign exchange transactions, including cash, cheques, and foreign currency.
    • Match demand and supply of foreign exchange.
    • Conduct accurate foreign exchange transaction settlements with procedural formalities and documentation.
    • Buy and sell foreign currency, upselling whenever possible.
    • Assist customers with account inquiries and transactions, delivering excellent customer service.
    • Handle money transfers with approved agents.
    • Deal with foreign exchange inquiries and currency orders.
    • Maintain proper records of all transactions.
    • Follow compliance procedures, company policies, and guidelines.
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and targets.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

    Skills and Requirements:

    • A good first degree in any discipline.
    • Proven record of sales performance.
    • Excellent client relationship development and management skills.
    • Good negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
    • Strong knowledge of forex.
    • Leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Ability to build and manage teams and resolve conflicts.
    • Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
    • Effective time management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Knowledge of total quality management principles.
