We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth across multiple regions and channels in Lagos, Ondo, and Edo States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for technology and renewable energy solutions. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales operations, developing strategic plans, and achieving sales targets while fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth in key markets.
Team Management: Lead, Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to drive long-term business opportunities.
Marketing Campaings: Oversee digital marketing, trade shows, promotional events, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Market Research: Analyze trends, identify opportunities, and track competitor activities.
Sales Performance: Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance and report to senior management.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to the senior leadership team. Use data to track and analyze sales performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, finance, customer service, and other teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and enhance the overall customer experience.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead high-level negotiations with potential clients and close large-scale sales deals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar industry (renewable energy, technology, or consumer electronics is a plus).
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Passion for sustainable energy solutions and technology products.
