    We are seeking an ambitious and performance-driven Sales Manager to lead and execute the sales strategy of our 50-bedroom boutique hotel located in Benin City, Edo State. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in hospitality sales, a strong local network, and a passion for exceeding targets through creative and consistent client engagement. This role is key to increasing room occupancy, event bookings, and revenue growth while upholding our brand’s reputation for excellence and personalized service. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase room bookings, group business, and event sales. 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other business partners. 
    • Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of competitors and inform pricing and promotional strategies. 
    • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and in the local community to generate leads. 
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, including pipeline updates and performance forecasts. 
    • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive brand awareness and direct bookings. 
    • Collaborate with the reservations, front office, and F&B teams to ensure a seamless guest journey from booking to departure. 
    • Identify and act on opportunities to upsell hotel services, including events, dining, and special packages. 
    • Resolve client concerns professionally and promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and retention. 
    • Monitor and achieve sales targets as set by the General Manager. 

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field. 
    • Minimum of 4 years’ progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry. 
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a hotel or resort environment. 
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. 
    • Knowledge of the Benin City market and regional corporate landscape is an added advantage. 
    • Proficiency in hospitality software such as PMS and CRM systems.
