    Sales Executives

    Unit: Sales and Business Development

    Location of Job: Lagos, Ibadan, Ondo, Oshogbo and Ilorin.

    Reports to: Sales Manager

    Main Function

    Sales Executives are the principal point of contact between a business and its customers. Sales Executives ensure current customers have the right products and services, identify new markets and customer leads, and pitch prospective customers.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Generating Sales leads.
    • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Negotiating all contracts with prospective customers.
    • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
    • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
    • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
    • Understanding and promoting company programs.
    • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
    • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
    • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
    • Maintaining client records.
    • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
    • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments.
    • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.
    • Meet and/or exceed quotas.
    • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.

    Competencies/Skills

    • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
    • A commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
    • Microsoft Offices (word, excel, power point)
    • Time Management
    • Ability to learn fast and maintain confidentiality.

    Qualifications/Experience

    • SSCE or a B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
    • Minimum of 2 - 3years professional experience in sales, marketing or similar role.
