    Sales Executive

    Job Summary

    • Reporting directly to the General Manager of Puratos Nigeria, the successful candidate aims to increase sales of Puratos Nigeria’s products to select his/her key accounts through a professional and disciplined approach in the Nigerian market.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Together with the General Manager to prepare a list of agreed priority major accounts in key targeted industries including bread, western cake, frozen dough, flour milling, snacks, and couverture chocolate
    • To compile details of the key decision-makers of each of the targeted accounts
    • To define the specific needs of these key accounts in the area of product & service and develop & execute plans to meet those needs
    • To write a key account plan for each of these companies to achieve the goal of becoming the preferred supplier
    • To sell to the targeted accounts across the product range including enzymes, emulsifiers, natural sourdoughs, complete bread improvers, bread and confectionery mixes and couverture chocolate
    • To achieve agreed turnover and profit targets

    Profile

    • University graduate
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.
    • Good knowledge & experience of B-to-B business with industrial food companies
    • Experience in food-related companies, preferably involved in bakery & confectionery.

    Required Competencies:

    • Capacity to define and articulate key accounts strategy
    • Sales negotiation skills with industrial key accounts
    • Capability to build a network of relationships in the industry; ability to be perceived as the subject matter expert
    • Thorough technical knowledge of Puratos products
    • Basic knowledge of sales budgeting process
    • Basic knowledge of marketing techniques
    • Basic knowledge of production and distribution processes.
