Sales Executive at Meyer Plc

Role Description

• The Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing client accounts, and promoting Meyer PLC’s range of paints and coatings to meet revenue and market share targets. The Sales Executive will conduct regular client visits, prepare and deliver product presentations, handle inquiries, and follow up on leads to close sales. Daily responsibilities include preparing sales reports, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, collaborating with the marketing and technical teams on customer solutions, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The individual will also participate in sales promotions, trade events, and product demonstrations to strengthen Meyer PLC’s presence in the market.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Customer relationship management abilities, with experience in account management and client support.
• Knowledge of paints, coatings, or building materials industry is an advantage, with the ability to understand technical product features.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to analyze market trends, prepare sales reports, and work with targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant sales experience in FMCG, construction, or industrial sectors is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
