    Sales Engineer

    Job Overview

    • They have commissioned us to search for talented Sales Engineer professionals who will be tasked with the responsibilities of understanding all of the technical aspects of their products and explaining them to potential consumers.
    • Their duties include consulting on product development, explaining product features to customers during live demonstrations, and negotiating contract terms.
    • Generating high-quality sales leads, acquire new customers by winning them over from competitors.
    • Discovering new opportunities and following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
    • Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
    • Plan, prepare detailed technical presentations to showcase company’s product info, pricing, benefits and services to customers.
    • Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
    • Researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
    • Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
    • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field.
    • 8 - 12 years work experience.

    Skill Requirements:

    • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales in the technology field.
    • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
    • Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways
    • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Willingness and ability to travel 10% to 70% of the time, depending on the position and sales role.
    • Good leadership and team working skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
    • Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask.
