    Sales Engineer

    About Our Client:

    Our client is a leading fabricator of specialized components used in upstream oil and gas drilling operations. With a commitment to quality and innovation, they have established themselves as a trusted provider of high-performance products in the industry.

    Role Summary:

    As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products to customers in the oil and gas industry. You will provide technical expertise and support to customers, identify their needs, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the oil and gas industry.
    • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Understand customer needs and requirements and recommend products and solutions that meet their specifications.
    • Provide technical support and assistance to customers, including product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting.
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to customers.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and competitive products and provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
    • Prepare sales reports and forecasts, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
    • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network with potential customers and promote the company's products and services.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
    • Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles, particularly in mechanical or industrial engineering.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and attend industry events.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
