    Sales Development Representative

    Role Overview

    • The Sales Development Representative will play a key role in supporting the firm's revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. This role is focused on building the top of the sales pipeline. The SDR will research potential clients, reach out through approved channels such as calls, emails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and referrals, understand their cross-border payment needs, and book qualified meetings for the Sales Executives.
    • The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, persistent, and confident in speaking with business owners, finance teams, and decision-makers. This is a target-driven role for someone who can consistently create new sales opportunities, follow up effectively, and help build a strong pipeline of clients for the company.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and identify potential clients who may need cross-border payment solutions, including SMEs, importers, exporters, corporates, high-net-worth individuals, and businesses with regular international payment needs.
    • Build and maintain a strong prospect list by identifying relevant companies, decision-makers, contact details, industries, and payment use cases
    • Conduct outbound outreach through approved channels, including calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and other lead generation platforms.
    • Clearly introduce the company's services to prospects and explain how the firm can support their international payment and FX needs.
    • Qualify prospects effectively by understanding their business, payment corridors, transaction frequency, potential volume, current pain points, and level of interest.
    • Book qualified meetings for Sales Executives by identifying prospects with real payment needs and ensuring meetings are properly scheduled and handed over.
    • Follow up consistently with prospects to drive interest, move conversations forward, and avoid losing potential opportunities due to poor follow-up.
    • Support pipeline development by keeping the sales team supplied with high-quality leads and helping improve the quality of prospects entering the sales process.
    • Track outreach activity and lead outcomes using the company’s CRM, Google Sheets, or approved tracking tools to ensure visibility on calls, messages, responses, booked meetings, and next steps.
    • Provide regular updates on sales activity including leads contacted, qualified prospects, meetings booked, follow-up status, objections, blockers, and market feedback.

    Requirements

    • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, telesales, customer acquisition, lead generation, or a similar role.
    • Strong communication skills, especially over phone, WhatsApp, email, and LinkedIn.
    • Ability to confidently speak with business owners, finance teams, and decision-makers.
    • Strong research skills and ability to identify relevant prospects, companies, industries, and decision-makers.
    • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and conversations at the same time.
    • Strong follow-up discipline and persistence in moving prospects from first contact to booked meetings.
    • Comfortable working with targets and being measured on outreach activity, qualified leads, booked meetings, and lead quality.
    • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, FX, logistics, trade, import/export, or B2B sales is a plus.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Sheets, LinkedIn, or lead generation platforms is a plus.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
